Don’t worry if you have never done CrossFit before as all workouts are scalable and modifiable to all fitness levels and our coaches will be working side-by-side with you every day. No matter what your goals are, we want to help you get there.

Thank you for your interest in On The End CrossFit. We understand that CrossFit is an investment and that every gym is a little unique so we offer a free week trial to locals new to On The End CrossFit. A free week trial gives you the opportunity to check out our new facility and get a feel for our programming, our coaches, our community and our vibe to see if we are the right fit for you.

Day 2: Free Introductory Session

Meet with one of our world-class coaches during a free introductory class. Our free intro class is for beginners at all levels. In it we will discuss what CrossFit entails, go over some foundational movements, complete a baseline workout and answer any questions you may have concerning CrossFit.

Day 3-6: Complete our CrossFit On-Ramp Courses

Not so fast! We still have much to learn. After our introductory class, one of our certified couches will lead you through our CrossFit On-Ramp program. Our On-Ramp programs consists of four more sessions which will teach you proper technique and safety when lifting with a barbell. Your understanding and proper execution of these movements ensures your future progress towards a happy, healthier you.


Day 7: Find A Membership Plan That Best Suits You

What will my first time in your gym be like?

Your first time in will make you wonder why you didn’t walk through the doors sooner? One of our awesome coaches will give you a tour of the facility and chat with you about your upcoming days of CrossFit.

Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?

We know you may have a lot of choices on where to workout. What’s best… A treadmill at home? The gym down the street that is $15/month? A CrossFit membership? We’d actually encourage you to ask a different question. What are your goals? Personalized attention? Trained, professional coaches? Accountability? Working out with a group of like-minded people who cheer on your success? If the answer to any of the above is “yes”, then we’d encourage you to check us out.

What’s your drop-in policy?

We love nothing more than having visitors from other boxes come “throw down” with us!
If you are just passing through, we charge a drop in fee of $25 per day or $60 per week.

It’d be great if you could register online here before the scheduled class time and arrive a little early so we can introduce you to our box. You can find our class schedule here.

You may find that we may do things a little differently than your “box back home.” We hope that you enjoy the change in scenery, clientele, maybe even music. Perhaps we will even become your “home away from home”.

How often do you recommend I come to the gym?

If you’re just starting up, we recommend coming three days/week for your first couple weeks, then build to four, then five. Once you’re up to five days per week, we recommend building in two recovery days per week.

What exactly is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a fitness program that will change your life. By it’s definition, it uses “constantly varied, functional movement performed at a relative high intensity”. As a truly functional program, the difficulty level of our daily workouts is designed to be increased or decreased, depending upon the individual. This makes them doable by anyone.

Daily workouts could include things such as core conditioning, rowing, sprinting, gymnastics, lifting, etc. And all our workouts are designed to improve overall flexibility, strength, speed, endurance, and agility.

I’m not in very good shape… can I do CrossFit?

The very first thing you will discover is that CrossFit does not discriminate. Whether you are young at heart, or have just completed your 50th marathon, or are recovering from injury or healing a broken heart, whether walking the dog is the only exercise you’ve had in years, or you’re someone training for the Iditarod…We will help you achieve your fitness goals.

One of the things that makes CrossFit so unique is our community of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it. CrossFit bodies – our bodies – come in every imaginable size, shape and age; and yet, our workouts every day are designed for anyone to do them.

Yes, anyone. CrossFit is scalable and modifiable to all fitness levels so don’t hesitate to bring your mom or best friend with you.

I heard that CrossFitter’s use their own language, can you help me with the terms?

Can I do my own thing during class?

We do not have an Open Gym area to be utilized during class times. However, for any experienced CrossFitters, Powerlifters, Weightlifters, Cardio-bunnies and Strongman, we do have scheduled Open Gym hours where you can follow your own programming. We only ask that you follow our house rules.

They are:

  1. Have fun!
  2. Be safe. Ask questions if needed as there will always be a certified coach on staff.
  3. Use proper gym etiquette and clean up after your workout.
I just relocated/looking for a new gym and I’d like to check you out prior to joining.

We understand that CrossFit is an investment and that every gym is a little unique.
